Proposal to change the amount of fees paid to basket managers

After a few weeks of use, it is clear that the current system suffers from a certain imbalance: basket managers have too little financial incentive to try to increase their TVL as much as possible. Worse still, they often try to scare investors away in order to keep most of the rewards from their own votes for themselves.

The annual 1% management fee is negligible compared to the rewards distributed each week through voting.

That is why, after lengthy discussions and exchanges of ideas with some of the long-standing participants in this project, we propose to change this system so that each basket manager feels motivated to attract as many investors as possible (through good results, advertising, or any other action that will benefit the project as a whole).

We propose to increase the fees paid to basket managers to 1% per MONTH, or even 1.5% per MONTH.

Hello, I’d like to know who discussed this proposal. I understand the point of the proposal, I just don’t understand how a 12x increase in management fees would be financed, since they’re proposing to go from a 1% annual fee to 1% or 1.5% monthly, which means at least a 12x increase in fees, which would be paid by the investors in the portfolios.

Funded by the people who invest in the basket, exactly as is currently the case.

Investors earn a lot from rewards, so they can afford to pay higher fees.
